An injured worker may be reimbursed for travel expenses if they must drive 20 or more miles, one way, to the location of the medical provider. Alternatively, if the worker must drive 40 or more miles in one week to access medical care, they may ask for reimbursement. The reimbursement request must be sent within 60 days of the travel.
